Submissions

To have your band considered for either DJ club play or for a live gig booking by American Gothic Productions, send a CD to the above postal address and send an e-mail with a link to your band's webpage to: ScaryLadyS at aol dot com. Though we cannot book every band who sends us material, we are happy to keep a steady stream of new dark music played at our club events and will gladly distribute your band's printed promotional material at those events, as well. We love good new dark music!

Mission Statement

Established in 1991, American Gothic Productions has since been promoting Gothic, Ethereal, dark alternative, darkwave, electro, and industrial music in Chicago with a passion.

To create an exceptional atmosphere that perfectly complements the music we promote, AGP has brought our events to over a dozen different venues. We strive to provide a wonderful and memorable experience to each audience member and performer alike.

We believe that consistently bringing quality, new and established bands and performances to Chicago is essential in keeping the Goth and related scenes viable and vital. We want everyone who is interested in the genres we represent to be able to attend our gigs and functions, so whenever possible we hold all ages events, although Chicago licensing laws make it extremely difficult to do this on a regular basis.

We also strive to keep the admission prices fair to both the band and the concert goer.
